Welcome to the AEC Volunteer Portal

New Volunteers: Thank you for your interest in working with us to improve the lives of local pets. To join any AEC volunteering project, you must first complete a volunteer registration form to tell us more about yourself.

Returning Volunteers: Visit an event page to view volunteering opportunities and sign up for shifts. If you have volunteered with us before, but this is your first time using the AEC Volunteer Portal, please complete the one-time registration form below to create an account.

AEC Volunteer Requirements:

• Volunteers must be able to commit to attending their selected shifts as scheduled.
• Age requirements: Interested volunteers ages 18 and older are welcome to apply at this time.
• Volunteers must have access to email use the AEC Volunteer Portal to view volunteering opportunities and sign up for volunteering shifts.
• Individual events and volunteer roles will have additional requirements. For example: Veterinarian Volunteers must be DVMs currently licensed to practice in Washington state.
