You don't need to be a vet to make a huge difference for animals. ❤️
We would love to have your support. This clinic would not be possible without animal lovers like you.
Please continue to the next section to tell us what volunteering opportunities most interest you.
We will consider the information you provided earlier when selecting the role where you can do the most good at this particular clinic. While we will try our best to match you with your preferred volunteering role, we appreciate your adaptability as we all work together to bring these services to pets in our community. You will receive support and guidance from previous clinics' volunteers in any role you accept.
Admit Volunteer
Admit volunteers are rockstars who keep these highly attended clinics moving smoothly. As the first point of contact, they help families know what to expect and collect important information on forms that are used for the rest of the event.
Patient Escort Volunteer
Patient escorts guide the family and their pets from station to station when it is their turn to be seen, connect clinic guests with the resources their pets need, and provide one-on-one support for families as their pets receive care. They also make sure that all of the paperwork that each patient accumulates over the course of their visit gets where it needs to go!
Clinic Pharmacy Volunteer
Pharmacy volunteers dispense parasiticidal medication (flea and tick meds, dewormer, etc.) to clinic patients as indicated by the veterinarian who examined them. This volunteer role involves animal handling, accurately processing records (including certificates of rabies vaccination), and doing math.
The services these clinics offer to our community are provided by our incredible veterinary medical clinic volunteers:
Veterinarians
Licensed Veterinary Technicians
Vet Assistants (or animal professional with comparable animal handling experience)
